Topped out at 16,470ft today visiting Rainbow Mountain (Montaña Vinikunka). The highest elevation I’ve ever visited. It’s all downhill from here 🙃

Rating Overpriced Music Festival Food

Music festivals tend to be hit-or miss food-wise, and they’ll burn a hole in your pocket with these jacked up prices.

We went to a festival this weekend and trip as much as our stomachs could handle, and here’s what we thought:

🍕 Spicy Pie Pizza (pepperoni)
💳 Cost: $11 per slice
📝 I thought the slice was quite bland, absolutely not worth $11 per slice. The sauce needed to be seasoned a bit more.

🌶🧄🍜 Chili Garlic Noodles with Chicken
💳 Cost: $20
📝 The noodles were decent, a little overcooked and under-salted. The chicken was absolutely unseasoned, but mixed with the sauce it was ok.

🍪 Churro
💳 Cost: $8.50
📝 It was pretty good, though I prefer to have a dip with my churro and there was nothing available. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, served warm.

🍞🧀🍟 Grilled Cheese & Fries
💳 Cost: $19
📝 The biggest waste of money. The cheese in the sandwich was shredded, the sandwich was ready suspiciously fast, and the bread felt and tasted like it was soaked in oil before being cooked. The fries were good though. No way in hell this is worth $19, unless tariffs are affecting cheese imports?? LMAO IDK.

🌽🍞🍯🧈 Cornbread with Honey Butter
💳 Cost: $10
📝 Not bad for a snack. The cornbread was flavorful but not moist.

🧀 Mac and Cheese
💳 Cost: $14
📝 This literally tastes exactly like Meg said - it’s as if you made Kraft Mac and cheese, overcooked the noodles, refrigerated it for a day, then microwaved it. The pasta water was clearly unsalted, too.

🍔🍟 Smash Burger & Curly Fries
💳 Cost: $18 per burger + $7 fries
📝 I would find the physical location of this burger joint and go there to buy this again. Soft potato bun, thin and crispy patties with a beautiful skirt around the edges, melty American cheese, delicious sauce. The only thing worth buying at this festival, truly.
