2024 was not my year - I moved to a home I didn’t end up feeling good in, lots of life changes, health changes, learning to navigate PMDD in a relationship… the list goes on.

I struggled to find peace within myself last year, and I felt like I lost myself a bit. I stopped taking proper care of myself, stopped doing the things I love, and felt foreign in my own body.

While I’m not a New Years Resolution kinda girl, the start of a new year always feels like I get a chance to hit the RESET button, and it brings this hopeful energy back to my life.

So I started this year doing my favorite thing that I haven’t done in a while… a COLD PLUNGE in the ocean. It’s my moment of zen amidst the chaos of the world. It’s the time I get just to myself. It’s my morning cup of coffee.

It was 46 degrees outside, and 50 degrees in the water. Quite chilly, but I kept warm with my new set from @Chubbies (I first found Chubbies when @lukefranchina posted about them and I loved their colors and patterns LOL). Though their new Re(Set) collection has more muted tones. The quarter zip hoodie is super warm and perfect for my cold plunge mornings, and I’m a big fan of the lined training shorts.

Let this be the year we get back to taking better care of ourselves, even if everything around us is a dumpster fire 🗑🔥
